The Vipers Skiffle Group Don't You Rock Me Daddy-O CD
The Vipers Skiffle Group formed in the Spring of 1956 and in terms of commercial success, were the second Skifflers out of the blocks after the mighty Lonnie Donegan. It’s probably fair to say that apart from Lonnie, they left Skiffle’s strongest recorded legacy. This compilation presents everything that they released under their own name on EMI’s Parlophone label between 1956 and 1958. Including their 1957 UK chart hit singles Don’t You Rock Me Daddy-O (#10), Cumberland Gap (#10) and Streamline Train (#23), as well as popular near-misses like Ain’t You Glad, Hey Liley Liley Lo, and No Other Baby, along with the whole of their Coffee Bar Session LP.
