Misirlou CD
Dick Dale & his Del-Tones
Misirlou CD
Dick Dale is universally acknowledged as the man who single-(left)-handedly invented the sound of Surf guitar.
This unique CD collection features all his early singles released between 1958 and 1962 - several of which are hard to find elsewhere on CD.
Also included is his legendary debut album, Surfers' Choice, first released in 1962.
This release traces Dick Dale's evolution from regular teenbeat Rock 'n' Roll vocalist to becoming King Of The Surf Guitar, a phenomenon which he effectively kick-started via the first-ever Surf instro, Let's Go Trippin' in 1961.
Also features is Dale's famous 'Misirlou', which became synonymous with Quentin Tarantino's 1994 movie Pulp Fiction.
Other killer Surf instro anthems included here include Del-Tone Rock, Jungle Fever, Shake-n-Stomp', Eight Till Midnight, Surf Beat, A Run For Life, Take It Off, Misirlou Twist, Surfing Drums and Death Of A Gremmie.
