The Viscounts were one of the many rock instrumental groups that sprang up across America as the genre became popular in the late 1950s, releasing singles on the Madison, Amy and Coral Records labels.
Their sound was more original and evocative than many of their contemporaries.
This collection gathers their best recordings, including their biggest hit Harlem Nocturne, and their other chart entries Night Train and Wabash Blues.
