The Star Time Playboys are a superb three-piece instrumental Rockabilly band.
This is the missing link between Rockabilly and Surf, but you'll also find jump blues, western swing and other related style too, as the trio strives to find the perfect blend of genres.
There are a wide variety of style here, and a few surprises too, but each track is totally rockin', and with their excellent arrangements it's sometimes hard to believe that it's only three guys in the band.
It's Star Time! is a totally excellent genre defying release that will appeal to fans of instrumentals, roots and rockabilly music.
