Emerson wrote classic country hits and recorded Hillbilly, Rockabilly, and even Rhythm & Blues! In 1953 he recorded his first single for Wagon Wheel Records. Friends told him he should go to Nashville, so he did, and promptly landed a contract with Columbia where he shuttled between Hillbilly, Rockabilly and Rock 'n' Roll.
This 35 track collection includes many recordings which have never previously been on CD, including rare demos and two unissued Columbia masters.
