Buddy Holly
That Makes It Sound So Much Better
10" Vinyl LP

Buddy Holly's legendary apartment tapes are well-known.  These songs, written in December 1958, were recorded on his Ampex tape-recorder and first in 1959 and 1960, with by the Jack Hansen Combo added to Holly's vocals.  There were many flaws in the overdubbing, emphasised by the fact that Buddy didn't intend the tracks to be used for commercial releases, and so did not stick to strict tempo timing.
The equipment used to mix the original tapes was primitive compared to today's technology, and modern technological advances have enabled remix of the tracks, with errors in timing being corrected.
Many hours have been spent working on each track to create the best versions you will ever hear of the Buddy Holly Apartment Tapes.
This vinyl 10" LP comes with a four-page illustrated booklet with full details about the recordings and the re-mastering process.
