Finland's Rhythm Wheel Combo was ahead of it's time when it formed in the late 1970s.
Whilst most Scandinavian rockabilly groups were trying to imitate the UK revival bands like Matchbox and Crazy Cavan and the Rhythm Rockers, Rhythm Wheel Combo were intent on recapturing the 1950s rock 'n' roll sound.
The grew in popularity, and their final gig was at a festival in front of 40,000 people.
The show here captures the band on stage in January 1984.
This little piece of Finnish rockabilly history lets their fans re-live the wonderful days of the 1980s rockabilly boom, and at the same time  allows rockabilly fans who weren't their at the time to hear The Rhythm Wheel Combo as they were, live and rockin' on stage.
