The Johnny Otis Show was a touring ensemble headed by Otis, so many of the cuts here feature the artists from his troupe: Marie Adams, Mel Williams, Jeannie Sterling and Marci Lee. You will hear big band Rock 'n' Roll and rockin' Rhythm & Blues across 26 of their greatest Capitol recordings made between 1957 and 1959.
Includes their most successful releases such as Willie and the Hand Jive, Crazy Country Hop, and Castin' My Spell.
