Ace Of Spades CD
Union Avenue
Ace Of Spades CD
Union Avenue play well-known songs in the style of Sun Records era Johnny Cash.
The voice and the production are so close to the Cash sound that their music is regularly mistaken for the Man In Black himself.
The title track is their versions of Motorhead's Ace Of Spades which made Record Of The Week courtesty of Mark Radcliffe & Marc Riley's BBC Radio One show.
Other artists given the Cash treatment here are Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The Man In Black is gone, but the Johnny Cash sound lives on.
