Marty Robbins
The Jasmine EP Collection CD
One of the most popular and versatile artists of his era, Marty Robbins was a genuine one-off.
Although nominally a Country singer, he consistently crossed musical boundaries, with several ventures in to Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly.
This collection of killer Marty cuts is drawn from EPs issued variously in the US, the UK, France, Holland and Australia between 1956 and 1962.
It features a selection of his biggest hits, alongside various B-sides, LP and dedicated EP tracks.
The hits include Singing The Blues, A White Sport Coat, The Story Of My Life, El Paso, Big Iron, Don’t Worry, Devil Woman and Ruby Ann.
Among the rarities are Letter Edged In Black, The Convict And The Rose and The Dream Of The Miner’s Child, from the EP Marty Sings The Letter Edged In Black.
