John Barry Seven
Hits Misses Beat Girls & 007s CD

John Barry is chiefly remembered for his memorable movie themes, but before his composing successes he fronted the UK's finest Rock and Roll band, The John Barry Seven.
Apart from Barry (on trumpet) their most celebrated member was legendary guitarist Vick Flick, whose elegant twanging graces almost all of these recordings.
This 36 track collection presents the very best of the John Barry Seven's recordings for EMI's Parlophone and Columbia labels between 1957 and 1962.
Includes the hits Hit and Miss (#10 1960), Beat For Beatniks (#40 1960), Never Let Go (#49 1960), Blueberry Hill (#34 1960), Walk Don't Run (#11 1960), Black Stockings (#27 1960), The Magnificent Seven (#45 1961), Cutty Sark (#35 1962) and the career-defining James Bond Theme (#13 1962).
Also included are a couple of fearsome rarities, Saturday's Child from a Saturday Club LP, and Rocco's Theme which was released under the pseudonym Michael Angelo & His Orchestra.
