Johnny and the Hurricanes eponymous 1959 debut album follows, featuring their first two hit singles Crossfire and Red River Rock.
Next is Duane Eddy's $1,000,000 Dollars Worth of Twang, including classic twangers such as Rebel Rouser, Because They're Young, Forty Miles of Bad Road, Some Kinda Earthquake and Kommotion.
Rock 'n' Roll legends Bill Haley and His Comets had already released eight album prior to 1959's Strictly Instrumental - their first all instrumental LP and a classic of the genre.
Finally there is Sandy Nelson's Drums Are My Beat!, one of the iconic rock 'n' roll percussionist's finest works.
