Hipbone Slim (aka Sir Bald Diddley) has assembled an all-star ensemble here with musicians who have played in The Milkshakes, The Masonics, The Kaisers and The Wildebeests coming together to record one of the sharpest British rock 'n' roll albums since the late fifties.
The style is influenced by the great British Rockers such as Vince Taylor, Marty Wilde, Johnny Kidd and Dickie Pride, and the sound is authentic enough that there is nothing to suggest that it's a modern day recording.
Hipbone Slim's strongest album to date powers along with a mix of straight rockers and dark beat ballads, with musical references of Johnny Kidd, Link Wray, Do Diddley and others rock 'n' roll greats evident in their excellent original material.
