By the Fall of 1959 Gene Vincent's career had slowed down in the United States, but he still retained a huge following in the UK and mainland Europe.
After arriving in London in December 1959, Gene based himself in England for several years.
Consequently, during 1960 and ’61 his UK and US record releases differed wildly - and his final Capitol LP, “Crazy Beat”, was never issued in the US.
This collection presents all of Gene’s UK singles released between December ’59 and the end of 1962, including five UK chart hits, Wild Cat, My Heart, Pistol Packin’ Mama, She She Little Sheila and I’m Going Home.
Also included is the celebrated movie version of Spaceship To Mars from "It’s Trad Dad" along with The Crazy Beat Of Gene Vincent LP in its entirety.
