A pioneer of the Western Swing and Honky Tonk sound, Floyd Tillman was one of the first Country artists to write mainstream hits. It is estimated that recordings of his songs have sold in excess of 50 million copies, having been covered by the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Patsy Cline, Ray Charles and Ella Fitzgerald. Tillman had many hits in his own right, achieving top 10 on the US Country charts many times, and all of those hits are featured here.
