This collection of 33 killer Elvis Presley recordings is drawn from EPs issued in the United States between 1956 and 1962, a period which many of his fans regard as his finest.
It steers clear of his early hit singles, which are widely available on other releases, instead concentrating on LP and dedicated EP tracks.
Nonetheless Elvis’ LPs and EPs routinely sold in their multi-millions and many of these recordings such as Money Honey, Paralyzed, Old Shep, Blue Christmas, Trouble and Follow That Dream - were hugely popular in their own right, while tracks like Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Rip It Up and King Creole were hit records in the UK.
