Bob Gallion is feted by Rockabilly collectors for recordings such as My Square Dancin' Mama, Baby Love Me, Froggy Went A Courtin' and Hey Joe. However, he stuck to his Honky Tonk and Hillbilly roots for much of his recording career and chalked up more US Country hits than you might think. His peak years were between 1958 and 1962, during which he logged ten chart entries, including his biggest record Wall To Wall Love. This 32 track collection anthologises Gallion's recordings for MGM and Hickory Records between 1956 and 1962. Several of these tracks, notably his Hickory releases, are very difficult to find elsewhere on CD.
