The Honey Bees play late 1950s/early '60s style Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly with duo female harmonies vocals. In The Key Of Bee is their third great album.
Formed by Barbara Clifford (vocals) and Theresa Drda (drums) with the idea that female vocals can be reinvented to make an important impact on the Rock 'n' Roll music scene. With their tight, expressive vocals, they represent the feminine strength behind the name and move into a driving, energy mode driven by the solid musicians around them.
The Honeybees musical influences range from rockabilly and roots legends such as Wanda Jackson, Janis Martin, Brenda Lee, Chuck Berry and The Sonics to modern roots rockin' artists such as Rosie Flores and the Paladins.
