Dex Romweber is nothing less than an icon of the American music underground.
He pioneered the template for the stripped-to-the-essentials guitar/drums duo format in the (should be) world famous psycho-rockabilly-surf-garage-punk combo Flat Duo Jets - so often emulated, so rarely duplicated - and can count Jack White, Neko Case, Cat Power and Exene Cervenka among his vocal acolytes.
Dex, his sister Sara, and his lecherous and slithery Silvertone take Images 13 through haunted, neon-lit alleys full of pulp fiction juvey rock, should-have-been sci-fi TV theme songs and greasy denim '50s hipster jive.
