Mean Ol' Frisco CD
Arthur "Big Boy" Crudup
Mean Ol' Frisco CD
27 tracks from Blues legend and prolific songwriter Arthur Crudup, best remembered as the composer of Elvis Presley's first single That's Alright.
His songs were widely covered by other artists, and Elvis also recorded two more Crudup compositons, My Baby Left Me and So Glad You're Mine.
Crudup was an innovative artist with a unique sound who deserved to be remembered for much more than the songs which were covered by Presley.
His first LP Mean Ol' Frisco is here in it's entirety, along with no less than 15 bonus tracks.
The CD is accompanied by a 16 page booklet with detailed liner notes and rare photos.
